Venue

The Awaji Island covers an area of 595 square kilometers, and it's size is approximately the same as that of Singapore. It is positioned roughly in the center of the Japanese archipelago and linked to the main island of Honshu by the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge (3,911m long), and to Shikoku by the Naruto Bridge(1,629 m long). The island is well known as a mythological and cultural place; the first island in Japan created by Gods (Izanagi and Izanami) according to the ancient Japanese mythology "Kojiki". The conference venue is the Awaji Yumebutai International Conference Center, one of the facilities of the multi-purpose complex, the Awaji Yumebutai, which was designed by the worldly renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The Awaji Yumebutai (meaning "Yume"=dream + "butai"=stage) is exquisitely merged into the abundant natural assets, flora, and fauna in the surrounding. We are sure that you will be satisfied with your conference activities and explore pleasant experiences in your free time in this area.
