Official excursion of IP 2013 Awaji is scheduled as follows:
Date: September 26 (Thr.) 1:00pm
Destinations:
1. Otsuka Art of Museum
    The location is indicated with "L" on the map in the Sightseeing Spots below.

2. Cruise to watch the Naruto Whirlpools aboard a tourist boat
    This will be cancelled in case of bad weather condition.

* Students: You are cordially invited to the excursion. Your participation will be supported by the monetary contribution from the organizers of IP2011 which was held in Akron, US in 2011.
Please bring the student ID with you.
* Lunch boxes will be handed out to the pariticipants in the tour bus.

Optional Tour

Naoshima Tour  September 27(Fri) Starts at 8:00am in front of the Westin Hotel Awaji Island
Awaji Yume Tours will arrange an optional day trip in which you could enjoy a four-hour round trip cruise to Naoshima. There will be no English speaking guide provided for this tour.
The registration deadline is September 20, 2013.

In case the tour is decided to be implemented with less than 52 participants (the maximum number for the tour), Awaji Yume Tours will accept additional reservations on or before September 24, 2013.

Post Symposium Tour Opportunities

JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) will arrange post-symposium tours, starting from the convention venue, to Kyoto and Nara. A minimum number of 20 participants is required for the tours, otherwise the tour will be cancelled.
An English speaking guide will attend to all tours.
